Shout Climate Change Africa (SCCA) is a pan-African climate advocacy and action organization committed to advancing environmental sustainability, climate resilience, and inclusive development across Africa.
SCCA works at the intersection of policy, education, advocacy, and grassroots action to address the growing impacts of climate change on African communities. With a strong focus on West Africa, the organization mobilizes governments, institutions, civil society, youth, and private sector actors to drive coordinated and practical climate solutions.
SCCA believes that Africa must not only respond to climate change but also lead with context-driven, locally grounded, and globally relevant solutions.
WAICCON reflects SCCA’s commitment to building long-term climate resilience while supporting sustainable economic and social development across West Africa.

Our Role in WAICCON
Shout Climate Change Africa is the lead convener and organizer of the West Africa International Climate Conference (WAICCON), in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change and regional and international partners.
Through WAICCON, SCCA provides a strategic platform for:

What We Do
Climate Advocacy & Policy Engagement
We engage governments, regional bodies, and institutions to support evidence-based climate policies and inclusive environmental governance.
Climate Education & Awareness
SCCA promotes climate literacy across Africa, with a strong focus on youth and schools. Through initiatives linked to WAICCON, we aim to reach 100,000 students with climate education materials that empower action at the community level.
Regional & International Collaboration
We work with ECOWAS countries, development partners, and global institutions to foster cooperation on climate resilience and sustainable development.
Platforms for Action
Through conferences, workshops, campaigns, and partnerships, SCCA creates spaces where stakeholders connect, innovate, and implement solutions.
